The deacon ministry serves as a vital support system within the church, embodying Christ's call to servant leadership. Deacons are called to minister to the physical and spiritual needs of the congregation and community, assisting the pastor to focus on prayer and the ministry of the Word.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in worship services and ordinances (e.g., communion, baptism)
  2. Visit and care for the sick, elderly, and homebound members
  3. Identify and address the needs of families facing hardship or crisis
  4. Support church outreach and community service initiatives
  5. Pray for the church leadership and congregation
  6. Promote unity and fellowship within the church body

Deacons work alongside church leadership to ensure the smooth operation of the church and to foster a loving, supportive community that reflects Christ's love to all.
